David P. Schwarz

Mr. Schwarz is an alumnus of UCLA (undergraduate) and Western State Law School (J.D.). Mr. Schwarz also belongs to the California Public Defenders Association and other statewide institutions promoting defendant rights in Southern California. Mr. Schwarz has litigated a wide variety of cases in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange County courts, including all types of Family Law cases as well as complicated assault and battery matters and vandalism cases.

Mr. Schwarz is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and San Bernardino Bar Association. He is also fluent in Spanish.

During his free time, Mr. Schwarz is actively involved in charitable organizations and enjoys cycling.

Mr. Schwarz has defended many complicated criminal matters throughout southern California. Mr. Schwarz has had the District Attorney dismiss many drug offenses charges where the defendant was facing serious time in jail. Mr. Schwarz is very skillful in getting excellent results for his clients. In addition I have won many modifications of spousal support awards after a divorce judgment has been entered.  I have modified numerous spousal support orders so that my clients are favorably compensated and get there just deserved economic windfall from the ex spouse.

I have fought for many of my clients so that they pay their just and correct amount of child support I have modified am y child support orders that were incorrectly ordered by the court and fought for the correct justice to be ordered

I have handled many divorces that involved many issues regarding community property issues in California.  I have handled complex issues regarding dissolution involving property division spousal support and child support issues.  Also I have handled many issues involving pension, 401k and complex retirement issues such as business evaluations and forensic accounting issues.  Also I have handles Erisa and Calpers retirement issues that involve QDRO,s

I have handled many contempt actions as well.  I have won many of these proceedings protecting my clients from jail and saving them the hardship of encarceration.  I have an impeccable track record in contempt trials.
